Super Precision Bearings

1.  Spindle Bearing

Our Super Precision Angular Contact Ball Bearings are designed for applications that demand high reliability, stiffness, speed capability, and running accuracy.

Our product range enables machine tool manufacturers across various industrial sectors, as well as designers of special-purpose machines, to optimize their spindles by focusing on the aspects most critical to their needs.

The range of super precision bearings includes various single-row angular contact ball bearings in the 70, 72, and 719 series, with standard contact angles of 15° or 25°. Customization options are available to meet specific application requirements, including different contact angles, bearings with grease, seals, special pre-loads, or ceramic balls.

We have tailored the internal design of our super-precision angular contact ball bearings to meet the specific needs of the machine tool industry.

2. Ball Screw Support Bearing : –

Our Super Precision 60° Angular Contact Thrust Ball Bearings are designed to handle high thrust loads for ball screw support applications. The large contact angle of 60° provides excellent stiffness and allows for high thrust capacities.

These bearings are manufactured to universal ground standards, meaning they can be rearranged and mounted in any configuration. They are available with low, medium, or high preload and feature a V-marking.

The bore and outer diameter are produced to precision class P4A, with axial runout restricted to P2. Each bearing includes a ball-guided polyamide cage capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -30°C to 120°C. Our ball screw support bearings are supplied with pre-packed grease GH62, ensuring they are ready for immediate use.

Range: BS17M47 – BS55M100

Min ID: 17 mm | Max ID: 55 mm

Min OD: 47 mm | Max OD: 100 mm

Contact Angle: 60°

Accuracy: P4A

3. Cylindrical Roller Bearing

The use of high-precision rolling bearings in the machine tool industry makes great demands on the running accuracy of these bearings. Our high-precision cylindrical roller bearings combine running accuracy characteristics with great stiffness and load-carrying capacity while at the same time providing a high-speed capacity with a smaller cross-section height. This smaller cross-section height allows for lower centre distances for multi-spindle arrangements. High precision cylindrical roller bearings make for ideal floating bearings because they are able to compensate for heat-related changes in length that occur in adjacent parts.

Our high-precision cylindrical roller bearings with cages are available in many different variations. They are manufactured as single-row bearings in the 19 and 10 dimensional series, and as double row bearings in dimensional series 30 and 49. The bore diameter and outside diameter of both the single and double-row cylindrical roller bearings are identical for the particular diameter series.

The high-precision cylindrical roller bearings with the HN designation have an enhanced inner geometry that has been adapted to the high-precision angular contact ball bearings and their rotational speed capacity. These bearings are the ideal complement to the performance range of the high-precision cylindrical roller bearings.

Range: NN/NNK: 3006 to 3032

Min ID: 30 mm | Max ID: 160 mm

Min OD: 55 mm | Max OD: 240 mm

Accuracy: P5

4. Double Direction Angular Contact Thrust Ball Bearing:

NIBL’s double-direction angular contact thrust ball bearings are designed to provide axial positioning of spindle shafts in both directions. These bearings are intended to be mounted alongside cylindrical roller bearings within the same housing bore, simplifying the machining process of the housing.

These bearings have the same nominal bore size and outer diameter as their corresponding cylindrical roller bearings. However, by considering the outside diameter tolerance of the housing washers, along with the recommended housing bore diameter and geometric tolerances for super-precision cylindrical roller bearings under light to normal loads with a rotating inner ring load, an appropriate radial clearance is achieved in the housing bore. This clearance ensures that radial loads do not impact the thrust bearing, provided that its outer ring is not axially clamped within the housing.
